How do I reset my password?

Press Forgot password? on the sign-in window, enter the email address on your account and press Send the reset link. Open the email we send you, and use its link within 15 minutes to set a new password.

What happens after I press Forgot password?

1. Enter the email address on your account, then press Send the reset link. The window says Check your inbox, and it does not say whether an account exists for that address.
2. Open the email and follow the link. The link works once and for 15 minutes.
3. Set your new password under New password and again under Confirm new password, then press Save new password. Your new password needs 8 to 100 characters, with an upper case letter, a lower case letter and a digit.
4. Sign in with your new password. Resetting your password signs you out on every device, so you sign in again everywhere with the new one.

Choose a password you use nowhere else, and keep your account secure with two-factor authentication as well.

If you are signed in and want a different password, use Change password on your security page instead. Change password asks for your current password, and it signs out your other devices while you stay signed in on this one.

What if the password reset email does not arrive?

• Look in your spam and promotions folders, and search your inbox for Earnit.GG.
• Make sure you typed the email address on your account. The reset email goes only to that address, so an address with a typo, or another address you own, receives no email.
• Wait a few minutes before you ask again, then press Send the reset link once more.

If the link says That link has expired, it was older than 15 minutes or had been used already, and Send me a new link sends a new one.

What if I can no longer open the email on my account?

The reset link goes only to the email address on your account, because that address is how we know the account is yours. If you can no longer open that inbox, contact our support team with the email address on your account and what happened to it, and our team helps you get back in.

Do I have a password if I signed up with a social account such as Google or Steam?

No, if you signed up with a social account, your account has no Earnit.GG password, so there is nothing to reset. Press that account's button under Or continue with on the sign-in window, and if you can no longer sign in to the social account itself, write to our support team.
