I can't log in, what should I do?
Updated
If you cannot sign in, reset a forgotten password from the sign-in window, or sign in with the social account you signed up with, such as Google or Steam.
Sign in the same way you signed up, and if you have forgotten your password, press Forgot password? on the sign-in window to set a new one. If you signed up with a social account such as Google or Steam, you have no Earnit.GG password, so sign in with that account's button under Or continue with.
Why is Earnit.GG not letting me sign in?
Signing in can fail for one of these reasons, with the most likely first:
- The email address or the password is wrong. The sign-in window says the details are not right without saying which one, so check the email address first, then reset the password if you are not sure of it.
- You signed up with a social account. Press that account's button under Or continue with instead of typing a password.
- Your two-factor code is not accepted. Type the code your authenticator app shows right now, or use one of your recovery codes.
- Your account is banned or suspended. The sign-in window says that your account has been banned and shows a Contact support button, which is where you can appeal a ban or suspension.
- You asked us to delete your account. An account waiting to be deleted cannot sign in, and you can keep your account with the Cancel the deletion button in the deletion email within 30 days.
- Your browser is blocking the sign-in. Try another browser, or turn off your browser extensions for Earnit.GG.
If none of these fixes lets you sign in, send our support team a ticket, which works without signing in. Include the email address on your account and the message the sign-in window shows.
What if I forgot my password?
Press Forgot password? on the sign-in window and give us the email address on your account, and we send you a link that opens a page where you set a new password. The reset link works once and for 15 minutes. If the reset email does not arrive, try the fixes for a missing reset email.
If you signed up with a social account such as Google or Steam, there is no password to reset, so sign in with that account's button instead.
What if my two-factor code is not accepted?
A two-factor code changes every 30 seconds, so type the code your authenticator app shows right now. If codes keep failing, check that the date and time on the device with your authenticator app are set automatically, because a wrong clock makes every code fail.
If you no longer have your authenticator app, press Use a recovery code and enter one of the recovery codes you saved when you turned on two-factor authentication. Each recovery code works once, and if you have none left, our team can help you back into your account.
