How do I delete my Earnit.GG account?

To delete your Earnit.GG account, press Delete my account at the bottom of your profile's Security page, type I understand and confirm the deletion. Your account closes straight away and is deleted 30 days later, so withdraw your balance before you start.

What should I do before I delete my account?

1. Withdraw your balance. A balance left in your account is deleted with the account.
2. Open your claim links and gift card codes. You cannot sign in once you confirm the deletion, so open anything waiting behind Reveal reward on your withdrawals page first.
3. Ask for a copy of your data, if you want one, with Request a copy on the Your data card of your profile's Security page.

Where do I start deleting my account?

1. Open your profile's Security page and find the Delete account card at the bottom.
2. Press Delete my account. The Delete your account? window opens.
3. Type I understand in the box, and if you use two-factor authentication, enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app.
4. Press Delete account. The page says Your account will be deleted. You are signed out on every device at the same time.

Until you press Delete account, Keep my account closes the window without deleting anything. After you confirm, we email you the date of the deletion, with a Cancel the deletion button.

What happens to my data and balance when I delete my account?

Your account closes the moment you confirm the deletion, and for the next 30 days it is kept as it was, so you can cancel the deletion. After the 30 days:

• Your personal data is deleted or changed so that it no longer identifies you, including your email address and your sign-in details.
• Any balance left in your account is deleted with the account.
• Your chat messages stay in the chat under an anonymous name, so other members' conversations stay readable.
• Some records stay for the periods the law sets, such as financial and tax records.

You can see every record that is kept, and for how long, in our privacy policy. Once the deletion is complete, you cannot create a new account, whether with the same email address or social account or with a different one.

Can I recover a deleted account?

Yes, you can recover your account within 30 days of asking to delete it, and your account comes back as it was, balance included.

1. Open the email we sent to say your account is scheduled for deletion. The email shows the date the deletion happens.
2. Press Cancel the deletion. The Cancel account deletion page opens.
3. Press Keep my account. The page says Your account is back, and you can sign in again as normal with Go to sign in.

If you try to sign in before you cancel the deletion, the site says This account is scheduled for deletion.

What if the link in the email no longer works?

The Cancel account deletion page says This link no longer works when the link has already been used or the 30 days have passed. If the 30 days have not passed, send our support team a ticket, which works without signing in. Include the email address on your account and say that you want to keep it, and our team can cancel the deletion for you.
