Why was my withdrawal cancelled?

A withdrawal is usually cancelled because the payment details did not work, or because our team could not approve the withdrawal. The money goes back to your balance as soon as the withdrawal is cancelled, so you can fix the problem and try the withdrawal again.
What are the reasons a withdrawal gets cancelled?
A withdrawal gets cancelled when our team does not approve it before it is sent, when its payment could not be completed, or when you ask us to cancel it while it is still pending. These are the most common reasons:
- The payment details did not work. For example, our payment partner could not deliver the payment to the details you entered. Check your details, then try again or choose a different payout method on the withdraw page.
- The payment failed. A payment can fail for many reasons, even when your details are correct, for example when the gift card you chose could not be bought at that moment.
- Your account is under review. A withdrawal can be paused while we review your account. A paused withdrawal is cancelled if our team does not approve it. You can keep earning during an account review.
- You asked us to cancel it. Our team can cancel a pending withdrawal when you ask, for example so you can choose a different payout method.
Where is my money after a cancelled withdrawal?
A cancelled withdrawal is back in your balance in full, and it shows as Cancelled on your withdrawals page. If you withdrew $10.00 and the withdrawal was cancelled, your balance goes up by $10.00 again, and you can withdraw it whenever you are ready. Your transactions page shows the amount coming back as a Withdrawal refund. We also notify you when a withdrawal is cancelled.
A withdrawal that shows Failed is different, because a failed payment does not return to your balance automatically: our team looks into every failed withdrawal and resolves it, and you can follow its status on your withdrawals page.
What should I do after a cancelled withdrawal?
- Check your payment details, and correct anything that is mistyped or out of date.
- Withdraw again on the withdraw page, with the corrected details or with a different payout method.
- Contact us if you do not know why your withdrawal was cancelled, or if a withdrawal is cancelled again. Send our support team the ID of the withdrawal by copying it from your withdrawals page.
