Why was my task rejected?

A task is rejected when it does not meet its requirements or our rules, so its reward is not credited, or is taken back if it already was. If you think a task was rejected by mistake, you can ask us to look into it.
What are the reasons a task gets rejected?
A task is most often rejected for one of these reasons:
- The task's requirements were not met, for example a step that was not finished as the offer describes, or a repeat of an offer that pays only once.
- A purchase in the offer was refunded or cancelled, for example an app purchase you got your money back for.
- A free trial was cancelled early, before the time the offer asked you to keep it.
- The task broke our rules, such as finishing an offer from a second account.
- The reward was credited by mistake, such as the same step paid twice.
Why was a reward taken out of my balance?
A reward that was already credited is taken back when its task is rejected later, which can happen some time after you finished the offer. The amount is deducted from your balance, your transactions page lists it as Task rejected, and we notify you about the rejection.
If you already withdrew that money, your balance can go below zero, and your next rewards cover that amount first, before you can make another withdrawal. The XP the reward earned toward your level is taken back too, so your level can go down. The reward also no longer counts toward your leaderboard total.
Is a rejected task the same as a missing reward?
No. A missing reward is one that never shows up in your task history, because the offer did not track, and you report it to the partner that runs the offer. A rejected task did track and is listed in your task history, but it was not approved, and you write to us about it.
What can I do if I think my task was rejected by mistake?
Contact our support team and send us the ID of the task by copying it from your task history, and tell us what you did, with any screenshots you kept. We look into every rejection you report, together with the partner that runs the offer, and we tell you what we find. If the task is approved, its reward is credited to your balance.
