How does free rain work?

Free rain is a free prize draw in the chat that runs every six hours, four times a day. To enter a rain, send a message in the chat, earn $1.00 from offers, surveys and tasks and press Join on the Free rain card before that rain ends. When the rain ends, winners drawn at random from the members who entered share a prize.

When does free rain happen?

Each rain lasts six hours, and a new rain starts as soon as the one before it ends. The Free rain card at the top of the chat shows how long the current rain has left, next to Next rain in, and the countdown is the same for everyone, so your time zone makes no difference.

The chat is the panel on the right of the page on a computer, and you open and close it with the round chat button in the bottom-right corner. On a phone, the chat opens from Chat in the bar at the bottom of the screen.

How do I enter a free rain draw?

Do all three steps during the same rain:

1. Send a message in the chat. Any message counts, as long as it is in the chat room everyone sees, and a message to our support team does not count.
2. Earn $1.00 from offers, surveys and tasks. A reward counts toward the rain that is running when the reward is first confirmed, even if you finished the offer, survey or task before that rain started.
3. Press Join on the Free rain card. The card says You joined this rain, and it shows Joined.

If you press Join before the first two steps are done, the site tells you which step is left, such as Earn $0.50 more from offers, surveys or tasks to join this rain. Nothing carries over between rains, so every rain starts with all three steps to do again.

How much can I win from free rain?

Each rain's prize is a small part of its pool, split equally between the winners, and the size of that part is drawn at random for each rain. The pool is what the members who joined the rain earned from offers, surveys and tasks during it, and the Free rain card shows the pool growing while the rain is open.

When the rain ends, the pool counts only the members who met all three steps at that moment, so the pool can end smaller than the card showed.

How are free rain winners picked?

When the rain ends, the card says Drawing winners, and the winners are drawn at random from everyone who joined and met all three steps. The chat then shows Rain dropped to with the winners and how much each winner got. A win is credited to your balance straight away and shows on your transactions page as Free rain prize.

Joining a rain puts you in the draw, but only a few members win each rain, however many join. If you joined and did not win, you can make sure you were in the draw.
