What happens if I miss a day of my streak?

If you miss a day, your daily streak goes back to zero, unless you hold a Streak freeze, which covers the missed day automatically and keeps your streak going. A day counts as missed when you do not open that day's case before the day ends, even if you earned the $1.00 that unlocks it. The countdown next to Day ends in on your Daily streak panel shows how long you have left to open the day's case, because the day ends at the same moment for everyone.
What does a streak freeze do?
A streak freeze covers one missed day, so your streak does not reset. You never press anything to use a streak freeze: right after the day ends, a freeze is spent for the day you missed, and your panel shows one fewer under Streak freezes held.
If you miss several days in a row, one freeze is spent for each day, for as long as you have freezes left. Once your streak freezes run out, the next missed day resets your streak.
How do I get streak freezes?
Streak freezes are one of the rewards your levels pay, and you can hold up to 5 at a time. Your level rises as you earn from offers, surveys and tasks, and each level card on your rewards page shows whether that level pays streak freezes.
Claim the freezes by pressing Claim on the level, on the Levels part of the rewards page. If the freezes would take you past 5, the claim is refused and the level stays ready to claim, so claim it once missed days have spent enough of your freezes to make room.
Does a day covered by a streak freeze pay anything?
No, a covered day opens no case, because the case is the reward for earning $1.00 on that day. The freeze keeps two things for you instead:
- Your streak. Your streak stays exactly as long as it was, and it does not grow on a covered day.
- Your place in the seven-day cycle. The case you open on your next day is the next one in the cycle, so a covered day never costs you the Weekly case.
What happens to my streak boost if my streak resets?
Your Streak boost, the percentage added to every daily case prize, goes back to zero with your streak, because the streak boost grows with the length of your streak. The next day you earn $1.00 starts a new streak at Day 1, with the smallest case, and your streak boost starts growing again.
A streak freeze protects your boost too: a covered day keeps your streak, so your boost stays where it was.
